The
mood of this song is a loving sadness, which thought the lyrics and the way it
is sung it feels the emotion is at the heart of the song. The tone of the song
is nostalgic with a wanting for the past and the dislike of change.
The
song sounds similar to Adele – ‘Someone like you’. I reseon I like these songs sound similar is because both
songs have piano and vocals as the songs main features and both songs are about
the longing for someone.
The
genre I would place this track into is Alterative soul. The song seems very
soulful and has soul music features but is not conventional soul.
