Analysing our footage

Inside Noisy Location
We chose to film in a place we had no control over, this would be cause there to be noise and other inference. After we captured and reviewed our footage we found that you could here the people in the background quite loudly and the location where we filmed had a high ceiling which caused echos.

Outside location
The location we picked to film outside was in quite a busy area, it was also a windy day. When watching the footage we found that you could here people in the background and also the wind was causing a lot of inference along with the trees.

Inside Quite Location
Our sound recording from this location is good but there are a few things that we could improve on. the macs in the classroom were left on a can be heard running in the background, you can also here mobile phone inference on the track.

Filming

Today as my group were not here I joined another group and filmed with them instead. We filmed outside near the aeroplane, we filmed in the the computer around and also inside the classroom.

Filming schedule & equipment list

For this music video I have two Weeks for the production of this music video. As the music video is quite simple I don't need much time for production. We have a night time scene, a daytime scene inside a house and also have outside shot in the daytime. The filming schedule we be quite short which means that editing can be given more time.

Day one: Nighttime scene
As the night time scene will be the most time consuming and difficult though to film we do this first as that can give an opportunity to reshoot if needed

3:30 pm - crew meet and set up equipment at said location and make sure everything is I'm place to film

4:00 pm - jazz arrives and test shots were taken to get exposure, lighting, composition and while balance correct for shotting.

4:30 pm to 7:00 pm - filming will commence and all shots discussed will her filmed in this time and anything else that may also look nice be and good addition to the music video

Day two: footage review to decided if any shots need to be filmed again

Day three: Daytime outside scene
As the daytime scene will also be quite time consuming this be filmed earlier.

10:00 am - cast and crew will arrive and set up equipment and then also take test shots

10:30 am to 12:30 am - filming will commence and all discussed shots will be filmed and anything that would be a nice addition to the music video

Day four: review footage.

Day five: daytime outside scene
This should be the easiest scene to film and will not take a lot of time.

12:00 pm - cast and crew meet and set up equipment and take test shots

12:30 pm to 2:00 pm will discussed shots will be filmed anything seen to be a good addition to the music video

Day six: footage review and the start of editing

The equipment I will need to this video is a camera, a tripod and battery powered lighting so we can film outside outside.

Preparing to shoot on location

it is important to plan your film to know what you need to film and recorded and how you can do it easily, if you don’t plan it then it may take you a lot longer to film and you not have the shots that you need a discussed earlier.

If were not to plan your filming the shots that you need may not be captured, the quality what was filmed might not be useable also. Sound recording needs to be planned as it may take the most time and if you not think about where you are recording then they be to much sound interference
